Most privacy policies are long because a lot is happening to your data. Ours is short because nothing is.
Privacy policy
- We collect nothing. PennyDrop has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics and no server. Your income, bills, spending and goals are stored only in your browser's local storage, on your device.
- We can't see your figures. There is no database for us to look at, be hacked into, or sell. Your takeaway habits remain between you and the ledger.
- Deleting your data is as simple as clearing your browser's site data for PennyDrop, or uninstalling the app. It's gone instantly and completely — we hold no copy.
- Third parties: none. Even the fonts are bundled with the app. PennyDrop makes no requests to anyone's servers — not even ours. Full stop.
Terms of use
- PennyDrop is provided free of charge, as-is, in the hope that it's useful. We make no guarantees about availability or fitness for any particular purpose.
- It is not financial advice. PennyDrop is a budgeting tool — a very opinionated calculator. For decisions about debt, investments, pensions or anything with real stakes, speak to a qualified, FCA-regulated adviser.
- Figures such as typical market rates and savings estimates are illustrative, based on public UK averages, and may be out of date. Always check current prices before switching or signing anything.
